Get to Know Us
Jason Lujan started working in horticulture in 1999. Since starting in nurseries, Jason has done nursery management, interior plant installations, moss wall designs and installation, living wall designs and installation, and operations management for two major interior plant companies in California and Texas. He holds his professional relationships with all of his past employers very close to his heart as he knows that's what got him to where he is today.
Nanci Hattem started Second Nature in 1988. With a strong background and education in horticulture, she set out to become the premier interior plant design and service company in the North Bay. She not only succeeded but she gained a loyal following of customers which have been with her from day one. Nanci's beautiful designs and impeccable service continue to inspire us at Second Nature. In early 2021 Nanci and Jason met and established an amazing partnership. Though she has retired, Nanci remains as a mentor and consultant for Second Nature.
